A Sad Irony

I slept better last night than the night before, but still didn’t get much sleep. Sleeping in the back of my truck has its benefits–especially when it’s 30° with 40mph sustained winds with intermittent snow flurries outside–but it’s still sleeping in the back of a truck.

One of these days, I’m going to figure out how to quickly deploy a truly comfortable sleeping system for camping. There’s a sad irony to going out into the wild to rejuvenate, only to come home exhausted two days later.
