Credits are currency

Consider this…

If you didn’t catch that podcast I mentioned yesterday, here’s a neat little nugget of wisdom to think about—the credits at the end of a TV show or movie? Those are currency.

You and I might change the channel or leave the theater, but those are a store of value for the people involved in whatever it was we just watched. The more credits those people have, the more high profile projects their names are on, the more (and better) opportunities they get.

It’s kind of like a resume—but it’s not a resume.

You probably have a resume. Are all your credits on it—or just a bunch of old jobs?

Get involved. Take action. And document your body of work beyond the time clock.

The more of your skills you can prove, the more high profile projects your name is on, the more (and better) opportunities you get.
