Deaf of a Salesman

Last week, I emailed a local dealership.

I asked a quick, yes/no question about a used car.

“Hi. No calls, please. You’re the only dealer I’m considering.”

I got two calls within two hours.

Followed by two emails.

Followed by a third email from the General Manager.

Followed by a fourth email from one of the sales reps telling me the GM had temporarily dropped the price of the car.

None of them answered my simple, yes/no question.

“Can I get it for under $150/month?”

Could have been a slam dunk.

No longer interested.
